Two pieces: an embroidered peplum top and a wide-leg palazzo, both cut in Vichitra Zazu Silk.

The silk carries a low sheen — not a hard shine, more a warm glow that shows up under evening light. It also has weight, and that matters more than it sounds. A peplum needs fabric with enough body to flare away from the waist and stay flared. On a limp fabric, the peplum collapses and reads as a badly fitted top.

Embroidery runs across the yoke and body in multicolour floral thread work, laid over a subtle geometric pattern on the centre panel. The motifs are spaced rather than crowded, so the silk still shows between them.

The hem is double-layered — a soft sheer layer sits beneath the main one, so the peplum falls in two stages instead of ending on one flat edge. That is where the movement comes from.

Sleeves are kept plain, with a clean border and no added detailing. Deliberate: the front embroidery is already doing the work.

The palazzo is wide-leg in matching silk, with a structured fall rather than a floppy one. Sizes M to XXL.
