An ivory embroidered ethnic co-ord set in Roman silk, cut as a V-neck kurta with a matching straight-fit pant.
Roman silk is the reason this hangs the way it does. It's a poly-silk blend, so it carries the soft sheen and fluid fall of silk but drops straight from the shoulder instead of clinging — and unlike pure silk, it doesn't crease into permanent lines after four hours in a car. Practical for a function you're actually travelling to.
The embroidery works in two registers. Fine thread work frames the V-neck, and a floral border runs along the hemline, with lace detailing on the sleeves and the bottom hem.
